 Everyone has a different personality and taste. People have different dressing senses, different hairstyles, and can have different shoe lace styles also.

 Many people don't know but shoelaces styles make a huge difference for shoe comfort and support. There are different shoelaces style for runners and there is different shoe laces style for those who do hiking. For runner shoelace styles that avoid foot sliding forward is best. And for hiking lace style provides support to the ankle and can avoid stress to the ankle. Thus you should have an overview of different shoe lace styles and should know which styles suit you.

Criss-cross style shoelace

The most common and classic shoelace style is the criss-cross shoelace style. Even beginners can do it without any problem. In this style, shoelaces cross over each other diagonally.

 This shoe style is suitable for most simple shoe types design. But not recommended for high ankle-length shoes as it can cause pain in the front part of the foot.

Runner's style shoelace

Many times people feel that their heel keeps slipping in their shoes. Even though that shoe model can be comfortable while walking or jogging but is causing problems while running. So for this, you have to re-lace your shoe with Runner loop/lace.

At present time runner loop is recommended by most of the runners. It helps in avoiding feet sliding to the front of shoes and give a stable feeling around the ankle.

Army style shoelacing

Many armed forces in the world like the USA, British, India, and Russia tie their military shoes in "army lacing" style. In this style, laces crossover inside and lace run parallel through eyelets. Many young people use this shoelace style. This style is quite popular on social media and it hot topic in YouTube videos and Instagram reels.

Army lacing style is suitable for all kinds of shoes and can be used on high ankle-length shoes also. This style is used by armies because it gives more flexibility to shoes and makes them more comfortable for long walks or runs.
