So when should we replace running shoes?
There are many ways by which we can judge that our shoes need to be replaced. And we are going to discuss them in detail in this blog.
1. Shoe is permanently stained
If the shoe has some stain marks and these stain marks are not fading then it's time to change to new shoe pair. Stained shoes give a bad impression on others.
2. Time period
Shoes also have a lifetime. After a specific time period shoe worn out. For example regular used jogging shoes can be used for around 1 year only. After that, they will wear out. While on the other hand leather boot can last for more than 5 years easily.
3. Disattached shoe sole
Sometimes after getting wet our shoe sole got disattached from shoe front. This can be fixed by using some strong adhesive. But this is not a good practice as shoe sole will again disattach soon.
4. Smelly shoes
Shoes stink if we have used their whole day or we had done some strenuous activity like exercise or running in them. This smell can be removed by putting shoes in sunlight for some time.
But shoes which are used regularly for a long time can have the problem of constant smell. These old shoes should be replaced.
6. Cracks starting to appear on outer sole
Shoe material of all types becomes weak with time due to constant contact with water, sunrays, dirt, dust etc. This makes material weak and it started to become thin. With time cracks start to appear in shoes. These cracks cant be repaired or stopped from developing. So it's time to buy new running shoes.
